The Living Room: Handling the Glass Walls

The defining feature of these apartments is the glass facade. It’s a massive asset, but it creates two problems: heavy sunlight glare and a lack of solid walls for placing furniture.
We solved the glare issue with technology. We installed automated, double-layered blinds integrated with our Smart Home system. One layer is sheer to diffuse the harsh afternoon sun without blocking the view, and the second is a blackout layer for movie nights.
For the furniture, we couldn’t push sofas against the walls because there were no walls! Instead, we created a “Floating Layout.” We clustered the seating in the center of the room on a plush, oversized rug. This keeps the glass perimeter free, making the room feel larger and allowing the city view to act as your wallpaper.

The Kitchen: Sleek, Hidden, and Modern

In many layouts here, the kitchen is an open-plan concept that spills directly into the dining and living zones. You cannot treat it like a traditional kitchen where you can close the door on the mess.
We designed what we call an “Invisible Kitchen.” We used handle-less, push-to-open cabinetry in a matte charcoal finish that matches the living room’s accent tones. We also concealed large appliances like the refrigerator and dishwasher behind matching paneling. When the kitchen isn’t in use, it fades into the background, looking more like a sleek wall design than a workspace.

The Master Bedroom: A Quiet, Cozy Retreat

Living above a retail hub means there is a constant hum of energy below. While the glass windows cut the noise, the interiors need to do the rest.
We focused heavily on acoustics. We avoided hard, echoing surfaces in the bedroom. Instead, we used fabric-backed wallpapers and a large, tufted wall-to-wall headboard. These soft surfaces absorb sound, creating a “cocoon effect” that makes you forget you are living in the middle of one of Gurugram’s busiest sectors. We also added a compact vanity corner with warm task lighting—essential for getting ready before heading down to the retail plaza for dinner.
