The Living Room: Letting the View Lead

The living rooms here have massive windows. The view is the hero, so we didn’t want the interiors to scream for attention.
We stuck to an Earthy Color Palette. We skipped the stark, clinical white walls and went with warm beiges and muted taupes. For the TV wall, we made a conscious choice to avoid high-gloss acrylics. Instead, we used a matte wood veneer combined with a rough stone-finish cladding. This texture feels raw and natural—kind of like the tree bark you see right outside the window. It grounds the room without trying too hard.

The Balcony: More Than Just a Drying Area

In Godrej Woods, the balcony is arguably the most important room in the house. It puts you right in the middle of the canopy.
We treated this space as a “Coffee Deck.” We ripped out the standard builder tiles and installed WPC decking. It looks exactly like wooden planks but is waterproof and durable. We added a dedicated spot for a swing and installed warm cove lights for the evening. Now, instead of just being a place to dry clothes, it’s where the family starts their day.

The Master Bedroom: Keeping it Quiet

The master bedroom is tucked away from the main noise, so we wanted to keep the design “quiet” too.
We focused on Texture over Bling. We avoided sharp edges and heavy furniture. The wardrobes are finished in a fabric-textured laminate that feels soft to the touch and doesn’t reflect glare. For the bed back, we used a subtle, patterned wallpaper in earth tones rather than heavy paneling. It makes the room feel cozy and calm—exactly what you need after a long drive back from Delhi.
